Camp Information

The Parks and Recreation Department offers many camps for the youth of Georgetown. These camps are offered all summer, during Spring Break, and during the Winter Break.

Registration

Summer Camp 2012 Registration:
Residents: Monday, March 26, 2012 – 8:00 am
Nonresidents: Tuesday, March 27, 2012 – 8:00 am

On-line registration is also available. Each on-line registrant will pay the event registration fee charged by the City of Georgetown plus a Service Charge. If the registration fee is less than $69, there is no service charge. When registering online, you will have the option to pay the $30 nonrefundable deposit or the entire balance of the camp registration.  If you want to only pay the $30 nonrefundable deposit, please check the Schedule?  button located in the Cost field for each camp registration.

At this time we are not accepting phone registrations for most camps because the parent / guardian must complete a 2012 Summer Camps Registration Form for each child and turn in at the time of registration.  Please see specific information about each camp for possible exceptions.

Anyone wishing to register may do so at the follow locations:
Georgetown Recreation Center – 1003 N. Austin Avenue
Parks & Recreation Administration Building – 1101 N. College Street
Georgetown Tennis Center – 400 Serenada Drive

Payment

Registration will not be accepted without payment. You may pay the fees in full at the time of registration, or just pay $30 of the total fee for each week of camp as a nonrefundable deposit.

Each camp course is one week long, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise specified.

The remaining camp balance for each week is due the Monday one week before the camp course starts. If the balance is not paid in full by this time, your child’s spot may be forfeited and the next child on the waitlist will be called. You will lose your $30 deposit.

Refunds MINUS the $30 deposit will only be given if notice of course withdrawal is received 7 days prior to start of course. Full refunds will only be given for those classes that are cancelled for departmental reasons.
